Specialty Cements

IntegraCem Specialty Cements

IntegraCem™ cementing systems include specialty materials with unique properties to overcome specific challenges encountered during cementing or remediation operations, including helping prevent lost circulation.

IntegraCem Lite

IntegraCem Lite

A portfolio of premium, low-density cements that minimize lost circulation and deliver a strong annular seal. They are lighter and have higher strength than conventional options. This offering includes a comprehensive selection of engineered intergrind cements and an exclusive, patented cement blend as well as traditional systems.

Applications

  • Primary and remedial cementing operations
  • Oil and gas wells
  • Low-fracture gradient environments

Features and Benefits

  • Can be used as a filler or completion cement
  • Adapts to a variety of slurry densities
  • Can be customized for specific well conditions
  • Slurry stability at low densities
  • Improved compressive strength compared to conventional lightweight cements
  • Facilitated QC when compared to blended and conventional lightweight systems
  • Preblended, lightweight systems improve operational efficiency when compared to blended systems, lightweight beaded systems and foamed cement options
  • Compatible with other cement additives

IntegraCem Foam

A lightweight or ultra-lightweight cement slurry system typically used when conventional slurries may cause loss of circulation — generally more cost effective than those produced with glass microsphere and cement blends. This system can be used in formations that may be low-fracture gradient, naturally fractured, highly permeable or vuggy.

With a foam quality (nitrogen volume percent) of 35% or less, the compressive strength of the foamed cement approaches the compressive strength of the base cement.

IntegraCem Foam can also be used to control the influx of formation gas into the wellbore, impede fluid loss to the formation and aid mud displacement. This foamed slurry also has superior thermal insulation properties, making them well-suited for special applications including those encountered in arctic regions.

Applications

  • Primary cementing operations
  • Remedial lost circulation operations
  • Low and ultra-low slurry densities
  • Low-fracture gradient wells
  • High permeability, unconsolidated and fractured formations

Features and Benefits

  • Cures or reduces lost circulation
  • Improves thermal insulation
  • Higher compressive strengths than conventional lightweight blends
  • More cost effective than slurries produced with glass microspheres
  • Effective mud removal and displacement efficiencies
  • Improves control of gas influx into the wellbore
  • Reduces fluid filtrate losses and potential damage of the formation

IntegraCem Fine

A cement material with a smaller particle size than API, capable of penetrating small orifices and cracks, effectively sealing casing leaks, microannuli, high-permeability gravels and sands.

IntegraCem AS

Innovative system that temporarily seals production zones, or lost circulation in potential production zones, while drilling. It sets like a cement but is completely dissolvable with acid, enabling efficient operations.

IntegraCem Thixo

Thixotropic cement slurry used to cure severe lost circulation problems encountered while drilling fractured, vuggy or cavernous formations. This cost-effective solution is used in surface or intermediate casing strings.
