We provide the latest technology to both wellsite delivery equipment and slurry systems in order to optimize placement with the latest in equipment innovation, fluid chemistry and software — giving you better returns.
Our operating locations each host bulk plant blending facilities with additional warehousing capabilities for our many solutions-based products. Quality control of these blended slurry systems is of the utmost importance. Each of our locations boast a state-of-the-art laboratory where cement is designed and evaluated to ensure it meets the highest standards for the protection of our client’s assets. These laboratories also certify that slurry designs meet API best practices and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Along with blending and quality assurance facilities, each district at American Cementing has a full maintenance shop where our trucks are inspected and maintained. Our multi-step preventative maintenance program provides the confidence that all jobs are done right the first time and every time.
Aaron James has served as our Chief Operating Officer since August 2020. James leads American Cementing’s operations, sales and technology departments and has two decades of energy operations and engineering experience. He previously served as the director of BJ Services’ cementing division, where he oversaw sales, operations and engineering. Prior to that, he founded and was CEO of ALTCem, a private equity backed startup cement company that was later part of the foundation of the BJ Services LLC. James began his career as a field engineer for Halliburton where he spent 10 years in various technical and leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a petroleum engineering minor from the University of Calgary.
Kevin Mitchell has served as our VP of Finance since September 2021. Mitchell leads American Cementing’s Accounting, Finance, and HR departments and has three decades of experience in Accounting and Marketing. He previously served as the Sr. Vice President of Financial Analysis, Marketing, and Business Development for Global Technology Partners, which provides transaction processing services for Visa and MasterCard in Africa. Prior to that, he worked in the Foodservice Marketing industry for Kraft, Tyson and Stratas Foods. Mitchell began his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in Houston and as the Assistant Controller for Nuevo Energy Company. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and an MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt University.
